Thessaloniki: The Map of Tastes is a magnet for wine lovers (PHOTO)
Their return was dynamic Map of Flavorsof the most important wine event of Northern Greece returns for the established annual meeting of the wine sector in Thessaloniki.
This year, in its 19th organization, it took place this weekend of December 3 & 4 at the Ioannis Vellidis Convention Center at Hellexpo and ends tonight at 20:00.
As expected it was a huge magnet with their fans of wine of Greece to hurry to try and get to know the new trends.
The event was attended by the well-known wineries of the country as well as many newer ones, even new ones, representing all the wine-growing regions of the country. More than 120 winemakers and distillers, as well as importers/distributors of wines, winemaking materials, packaging, asseccoirs, etc. presented their products and activity.
With the Flavor Map established as the point of presentation of the latest wine trends, the event also stood out in terms of “wine & culinary education” is the rich and interesting program of parallel events that he always proposes. Visitors, upon entering the exhibition, had the opportunity to attend the parallel events at no additional cost.
The Taste Map was organized by Wine Plus with the support of TIF-Helexpo under the patronage of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Thessaloniki Gastronomy Festival, the National Interprofessional Vine and Wine Organization, the Hellenic Wine Association and the Panhellenic Union of Winemakers.
