First Seasonal Victory, QuantWare Napoli ignites the spark and dreams again
After so many disappointments, it was in the air and it has arrived, QuantWare Napoli obtains the first victory of the season between the friendly walls by beating Avimecc Modica with a peremptory 3-0.
It’s a special day for the Neapolitan club, which conquers its first victory in the A3 series championship pushed by its public which, despite the far from exciting results, has never stopped supporting the team in this first part of the season.
Returning to the news, Naples, as we said, beats the Sicilian team led by coach d’Amico 3-0(25-21;26-24;25-17), a clear result, sought, desired, longed for by all the boys from the coach Sergio Calabrese. The All Blu start strong immediately, immediately ahead of a break that they manage to maintain and indeed to increase in the final of the set with the lateral spikers on the shields, the always green Canzanella, the Spanish Francisco Fernandez and the opposite Cefariello who immediately suggests being in the day, he will in fact close with 19 total points with 57% in attack. In the second set the level rises, Modica immediately starts strong, placing a couple of breaks and leads until the end of the set, in other circumstances Naples, a bit due to inexperience, a bit due to the anxiety of a given result, but not today, not in front of his fans, who continue to cheer on the team in a loud voice- he closes the second set in his favor ,26-24 . In the third partial it seems that Modica can recover, putting the QuantWare reception system in crisis in the initial stages of the set, at which point Mr. Calabrese throws Botti into the fray for Francisco Fernzandez who accuses an empty pass after two discrete sets and the boy del Vomero replies present. Naples is already ahead in the first time out, continues grinding points after points, closes in the jubilation of the public.
At the end of the match, all the emotion of the assistant Francesco Pagliuca: “This week the perception that something positive could happen was clear, there was a different positivity and serenity than usual, we are happy for the boys, it is the right reward for the work they do, we deserved the victory, perhaps we would have deserved it on other occasions too, today it finally arrived”.
The words of DG Matano at the end of the match were also very heartfelt: “It’s a huge emotion, for a moment I closed my eyes and went back to last year’s promotion playoff challenge
year- I thank the public who never stop supporting us and we meet on Sunday 11th for the home match against Lecce, even if we will be busy in the midweek match against Marcianise during the week”.
A beautiful evening ends in which QuantWare Napoli has finally shown that it can light the flame to feed the hopes of salvation.
