City Warsaw has launched information and promotion services on architectural assistance. Target is a city fully accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, who celebrate their day today.
A city accessible to a city where every apartment and resident has equal and independent access to the building in public space, services or communication. It is a city where everyone can live, learn, work, search or relax comfortably. Precisely in order for Warsaw to start getting closer and closer to each point where the restriction of access or perception is most needed. All new university investments should be used in a way that takes advantage of the widest possible group of users.
It is quite clear to everyone that the city should be a city without barriers, a proof of universality. Simply – to make it accessible to all residents, including people with disabilities, seniors, carers with special children or pregnant women. Implementation of this simple goal is equal hard work, which should be performed according to consistent criteria and parameters. That is why we introduced the standard – added the President’s plenipotentiary.
Architectural Accessibility Standards in terms of requirements and taking into account participation in the public space of the Capital City of Warsaw of Warsaw and public buildings. They are used in any case, unless they already use sounds.
After five years of standards being in force, it was decided to amend some legal provisions to include their division.
