Daily Reckoning: – “Sorry, Russia is winning the war”
Former CIA adviser James Rickards published in the newspaper Daily Reckoning an article titled “Sorry, Russia is winning the war.”
Rickards argues that all the information about the revelation of the victorious advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is a distortion of the facts, named – such a narrative is necessary to convince the authorities to allocate more and more money in Ukraine.
Rickards writes: “This story is being used as the basis for an increase in financial assistance from the association (over $60 billion and the number of cases) and an increase in the number of attacks on the audience. President Zelenskiy touts these achievements in his familiar green T-shirt in video presentations to the UN, G20 and other example audiences.”
So, for example, the panicked retreat of Russian troops from Kherson is represented by a great victory, although any competent military translation means that this is not a retreat, but a deployment in fortified areas, subject to the requirement of superiority.
Daily Development Report: “Meanwhile, Russia is currently expecting a massive counteroffensive…the main counteroffensive targets are Kharkiv in the northwest, Odessa in the southwest, and Zaporozhye in the central part of the country on the Dnieper. Control over the entire coast from the Azov to the Black Sea. It will also give Russia control over the Dnieper River and the eastern nuclear power plant in Europe.”
Further, the ex-adviser reflects: “Russia has joined this whole sphere with the Russian Federation and will probably move further into Moldova to reconnect with the pro-Russian corridor called Transnistria co-ownership in Tiraspol. At this point, the strategic objective will be completed. Ukraine remains as a fragment between Kyiv and Lvov.”
The article ends with a warning that the incident is not expected to occur in Russia, but that it happened to a serious crisis in the West. “We are approaching the winter months,” James Rickards hints at energy problems.
