Budapest has reached its peak, this is what foreign tourists say about it
Ever heard of Paris Syndrome? This is not another threatening virus, it is just a disease of tourism: it is typical of those places where we prepare with great joy, but when we get there, we are more disappointed than that. The French capital already earned this dubious reputation years ago, which certainly had a part to play in the fact that Paris its fairy-tale image conveyed by films and books is not in a grateful relationship with reality.

At the other end of the scale are those a cities that exceeded expectations, among them Budapest caused the most positive disappointments for visiting tourists: 96.17 percent of evaluations praised the pleasant surprises experienced here. With this, the Hungarian capital passed thez the capital of the European Union, Brussels, and Zurich, Switzerland, which slipped to third place on the imaginary podium. If we only focus on our sights, then there is no reason to be ashamed: the most unmissable attractions in this area are the Italian capital, Rome came out on top, and Budapest won the silver medal. In the reports, the Hungarian capital was described by tourists as “beautiful” and “impressive”.
Those analyzes also allow us to find out which destinations are the most angry with tourists, looting and poor value for money. Regarding the latter, only Orlando’s name came up again, but Singapore and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic did not perform very well either. More than a tenth of the tourists from Marrakesh, Morocco, reported frauds, followed by Paris, which can also put a lot of pressure on the lats, which is why the French capital became the name of the not-so-sounding Paris syndrome.
