Gatherings in Athens and Thessaloniki on Saturday, December 3rd by PWD organizations and agencies
With a gathering at 11pm at the Parliament, at the Constitution and at the same time in Thessaloniki at the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace, disabled organizations and mass organizations are mobilizing on Saturday 3/12, on the occasion of December 3rd International Day of the Disabled.
As they state in their joint statement: “If we freeze, we will not be impoverished, our people, our children will not be left without the necessary treatments to increase the profits of a handful of big businessmen.
We take the matter of our lives, our rights into our own hands.
At the end of the gathering, a delegation of the agencies will submit a memorandum to the government and the parties in the parliament.
We are escalating our fight
• No house without electricity, without essentials.
• Abolition of VAT on consumer goods, fuel tax, the energy exchange.
• Increases now in salaries, pensions, benefits.
• No to the hat baskets, the €250 of alms
• No to the health care bill that puts our lives on the line.”
