First league table tennis players from Zlín did not do well
On Saturday, the Zlín team lost to České Budějovice 3:10.
“We had a good start in the match. The doubles scalp was valuable when Nedbálek and I easily defeated the duo of Slapnička and Hanák,” pointed out the home number one Jan Dufek.
He was also the biggest driver of Zlín. At the score of 1:4, he defeated Kortus in three sets, and at the score of 2:6, he overcame Žaloudík in four sets. However, that was all from the home side. The other players did not join him. Therefore, the South Czechs took home a comfortable victory.
“In the duel with the sixth overall in the competition, the serve was important. Although we outplayed the visitors in the exchanges, the serving with the lateral rotation of the České Budějovice players caused us problems. “Thanks to the bad reception, Nedbálek did not manage the well-played fights with Žaloudík and Slapnička,” acknowledged Dufek.
On Sunday, Zlín was not enough to beat El Niño Prague. He lost 2:10 against one of the favorites of the first league.
The home team gave a decent performance in this match. They fought in it from start to finish, but it was not enough for a more favorable result. Only Marek Vybíral scored, who defeated Šíp and Stach in the singles.
Jan Dufek, Marek Vybíral, Michal Nedbálek and Ondřej Vranka entered the Zlín team in both matches.
The autumn part of the first league Zlín will end again at home, when on Saturday, December 10, in the game room at Podvesná, they will face Nový Jičín from 2 p.m.
A third league was also played. In it, the team from Šarov was the most successful, winning in the game reserve Přerova and also succeeding in the district derby in Kostelec. Lower Germany also became visible. Čelek from Uherskohradišťsk won in Kostelec and on the Přerov table. The biggest driver of the Dolněm team was their number one Miroslav Janča, who won 6 points in both duels in singles.
