Coming from Vougy to reach Lyon, the heavy weight in tow ended its race on a refuge in the hard shoulder of the opposite lane.
The accident occurred between the Annecy center and Annecy Nord exits. By chance, the truck did not cross the road of other motorists in its impressive embarkation.
The driver of the empty dump truck, a 69-year-old man from Ayze, was taken care of by firefighters. The gendarmes of the motorized platoon of Annecy (PMO) were present to carry out the observations and supervise the traffic. The alcohol and narcotics negatives came to light for the driver, who would have been taken ill.
Despite the removal of the truck around 8 a.m., the accident caused significant slowdowns on the axis, in the process of being absorbed this Friday morning.
