‘This is’ the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences
Subject of the new “That’s me” campaign
With a new campaign, the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences would like to draw the attention of prospective students to its range of courses – including the new slogan ‘That’s how I am’.
“The stronger fight for young talents and bright minds is not only a burning issue in relation to the workforce. The shortage of workers is also noticeable among first-year students and we and interested parties are recruiting who appeal to our young target group where they spend most of their time – on social media,” says Karin Motzko, Head of University Communication & Marketing.
In order to stand out from other universities of applied sciences with a similar range of courses, the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences decided on a fresh approach that plays with opposites and the owl, the logo of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. With slogans such as “climate awareness instead of scumbags” or “committed instead of not getting it” potential first-year students should be encouraged to study at the FH. “Not only do we offer our students excellent academic training with a high level of practical relevance, but thanks to our strong network of companies, we can also guarantee our graduates the best job prospects and also support international careers. In addition, it is important to us to see the people with all their facets behind the matriculation number and to accompany our students in the best possible way on their educational path,” Dominik Engel, Managing Director of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
The new “So am I” campaign, with own landing page, also focuses on future topics. “As a university of applied sciences, it is our goal to equip our graduates with exactly those skills that are most sought after on the job market. Therefore, our range of services must be constantly developed. In the area of cyber security in particular, we see a massive increase in hacking attacks on companies Demand for skilled workers. In addition, we will focus on the topics of sustainability, digitized energy systems and life sciences,” announces Engel. In order to further improve job opportunities, the internationalization of the FH is also to be promoted.
