IN PICTURES – Qualification of Morocco: many Moroccan supporters in the streets of Avignon and incidents
Many Moroccan fans celebrated their team’s victory in the streets of Avignon, especially on the avenues Saint-Ruf and Monclar. Morocco has indeed imposed two goals to a face in Canada this Thursday, December 1st and thus qualifies for the round of 16 of the football world cup.
Unfavorable traffic
The presence of many supporters disrupts the movement of cars. That of buses and trams was also stopped as a preventive measure by the Orizo transport network. It will not resume until December 2 in the morning.
On site, a force of order is present. Tear gas was fired under the Avenue Monclar bridge and along the ramparts.
Garbage cans are set on fire. Firefighters were called to put out the fires.
