Hanover. A motor scooter rider fell on Tuesday in Hanover’s northern part of the city for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The man took on difficult tasks. Police are looking for witnesses to investigate the accident. The behavior of a driver is of particular interest to the investigators.

According to the police, the 70-year-old was on his scooter on Weidendamm towards Scheffelsstraße at 12 noon. At the same time, a 24-year-old wanted to turn off the parking lot of a sports shop onto Weidendamm in his gray Ford Fiesta. “He stopped at the exit and let cyclists with priority pass,” says Dennis Schmitt from the Hanover police.
Who observed the situation at Weidendamm?
For reasons that have not yet been clarified, the scooter driver lost control of his vehicle at the level of the exit, fell and was seriously injured. “According to current knowledge, there was no collision between the scooter and the car,” says Schmitt. The 70-year-old was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
