Toulouse. The Miss Théonie grocery store has its Christmas market in Croix de Pierre
A little over a year after the opening of Miss Théonie, their local organic and sustainable agriculture grocery store, Lena Cayre and Pierre Lafond are organizing the first Christmas market in the Croix de Pierre district of Toulouse. Among the thirty stands expected on Saturday, December 10 on Avenue Henri Barbusse, many exhibitors, established traders or emerging entrepreneurs, come from the neighborhood. “We wanted to create animation and links. We discovered that some of our customers were craftsmen and had to participate in this market”, explains Pierre. Crafts, which will therefore be well represented (painting, sculpture, jewellery, knife making, etc.), will rub shoulders with local specialities, Ariège honey, bread and gingerbread and even a truffle producer. Also on the program, culinary activities with Akolab and games for the little ones with “Les Tricheurs”. A huge organic Christmas tree will be set up on Avenue de Muret and Santa Claus will come to distribute sweets to the children. All in a musical atmosphere with Nathan (cumbia, jazz and Brazilian rhythms) as well as Jesse Reece (voice guitar). All you have to do is let yourself be guided by the signage put up by the local merchants and the elves who will show you the way.
