State Cup draw brings a duel with Wals-Grünau
The draw for the quarterfinals of the SFV Stiegl State Cups brought an internal league duel with SV Wals-Grünau for Salzburg Austria. The game is scheduled to be played on April 19, 2023.
As the club drawn first, Austria should have died at home. Where exactly the game will actually be played is still open for the time being. The SFV stated the following:
“According to the implementation regulations, the lower-ranked club is entitled to the home game – with the exception of the final. In the case of clubs of the same level, the club drawn first has home rights. In the event that SV Austria Salzburg qualifies for the Regionalliga West in spring 2023, home rights will be transferred to SV Wals-Grünau.)”
No drama, the requirements should be clarified before the appointment. The financial effects are also limited, the revenue sharing of the entrance fees applies. With a view to the league, we are therefore hoping for a cup game at SV Wals-Grünau.
