San Marino. Gender-based violence, third edition of the Barbablu’ competition
“On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against
Women, the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Youth Policies Commission, with the
patronage of the Secretariat of State for Health and the Secretariat of State for Education
have announced the third edition of the BARBABLU’ competition, an artistic competition aimed at
to schools that leads children to reflect and question themselves on gender-based violence”.
A press release makes it known.
“This year the categories of papers to start with have been expanded, to make
bring out the creativity of young people more. The first prize for the drawings category
was assigned to the artistic work of Isabella Bini of the 1st R class of the Centro di
Professional Training and consists of vouchers that can be spent at the Cosmo Bookshop and the Pub
The Bettola. The second prize goes to Letizia della Valle of the 1st D of Fonte dell’Ovo e
they consist of vouchers that can be spent at the Block 21 gym and the Pub La Bettola. The prize for the audiovisual category was instead won by the video brought by some
students of class 1E and 3A of the Vocational Training Centre, Babini
Thomas, De Astis Michelle, Demir Ghenta, Giuliani Gloria and Pirroni Veronica from 1E e
Anglani Micheal, Guidi Gregorio and Graziani Francesco of 3A, who win vouchers
expendable at the Time Off. The commissions were affected by the reflections made by the boys in their works, in
which there has been a considerable work of reworking the concepts and in which they have been
different types of violence are represented. Finally, the commissions would like to thank all the
participants and the local activities that supported the initiative by setting up
prize arrangement. The papers will be published on the social channels of both commissions”.
