Mundi Consulting invests 1.2 million euros in expansion in Portugal and is recruiting
The Portuguese consultancy Mundi Consulting is investing around 1.2 million euros in its expansion in Portugal, with the inauguration of new facilities this Wednesday in Miraflores, in the Amadeo Souza Cardoso building. The project also includes new information systems, IT resources and new hires.
Investment this year will serve to protect the support given in partnerships, international cooperation projects and management of companies, private and public, all over the world, advances the consultant.
“For 2023, we plan to recruit five more employees for the company’s staff: three for the Business areas, one for the Communication and Marketing area and another for the Information Systems area”, explains the founder to Dinheiro Vivo and general manager Franklin Chagas, adding that next year we will continue to strengthen the team in Portugal.
The Portuguese consultancy, which has already expanded to six more countries — Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Guinea Bissau, Timor and India –, will extend the recruitment process to all geographies where it has offices . “These will be our plans for hiring staff. We have, however, planned to close more partnerships in various business areas, following the needs that our customers have over the next year. We work with service customization and this allows us to we adapt, also taking into account the social and economic context that we are living”, advances Franklin Chagas.
Betting on South America and Asia
With 35 years of existence, Mundi Consulting already operates in the markets of the CPLP countries and is now preparing for new horizons. “We are going to strengthen our investment in South America, where we only have a market in Brazil, and also in Asia, reinforcing a strategy that we have already implemented in India and Timor”, perspective of the director general. “Everything is going to be possible by subcontracting the large consultancy operators for developing countries. We are talking about companies that already have a great knowledge of how management and consultancy work in these countries and that, together with our collaborators, will provide a service of excellence, suited to the business characteristics of each country.”

The consultancy already works in partnership with more than 200 entities worldwide and 1500 individual partners.
The expansion of the business now largely involves the new facilities in Portugal, which will also help the company in the difficulty it has been facing in recruiting. “This investment was largely to create very favorable conditions in terms of work and that are attractive so that workers feel that our company is a good place to evolve, learn and consolidate the knowledge they have already brought”, concludes Franklin Chagas.
