Four districts of the Republic of Moldova will be connected to the Romanian water network
The Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development from Chisinau, Andrei Spînu, announced on Wednesday, on Facebook, that the Government approved the draft law for the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Republic of Moldova regarding the regulation of the construction of aqueducts, through which the districts of Ungheni, Nisporeni, Glodeni and Făleşti will be connected to the water network, ApaVital, from Romania.
According to them, the investments on the territory of Romania and on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, up to the interconnection points, including crossing the border, will be carried out by the operator from Romania, and the Republic of Moldova will pay the costs of wiring the localities in the area where the aqueduct will be built.
“At the same time, the National Regional and Local Development Fund is implementing a project aimed at the construction of aqueduct networks for 13 localities in Nisporeni districts (Isăicani, Băcşeni, Valea-Trestieni, Odobeşti, Chilişoaia, Boldureşti, Brătuleni, Cîrneşti, Luminita). , Selişteni) and Ungheni (Măcăreşti, Frasineşti, Costuleni), which will ensure their connection, at the interconnection point”, the minister said.
According to him, the first project of this type will be carried out between the towns of Măcărești (Romania) – Măcărești (Republic of Moldova).
“By the end of the year, quality drinking water, produced by ApaVital, will cross the Prut,” says Andrei Spînu.
