There Guardia di Finanza of Venice ha arrested two people who have accumulated tax debts never paid more than one million euros. Today’s measure was deemed necessary as the two subjects would have continued their economic activity through two further companies by transferring to them, and without any consideration, the customer and supplier package as well as re-employing part of the employees of the bankrupt company. Thus the corporate assets would have been effectively dissipated with the aim of favoring some creditors to the detriment of the Treasury.

On Tuesday 29 November, during a brief meeting, the municipal administration and the heads of the main trade associations in the area (Aja, Confcommercio, Federconsorzi and Consorzio JesoloVenice), with Rotary and the Lions Club, presented a gift intended for the Ukrainian population . The load consists of 44 wheeled petrol generators and of 132 packs of motor oilessential for their functioning. Everything has been entrusted to a Polish company which, with another gesture of solidarity, will take care of the delivery to the Kiev-Zytomyr diocese.

The Venice City Council has approved the resolution for the restoration of places of worship, in 2022, for religious confessions organized pursuant to articles 7 and 8 of the Constitution. A total of 350 thousand euros which, on the basis of the requests received by the Municipality from the religious confessions present in the municipal area and following an investigation carried out by the relevant offices, will be divided into 24 places of worship which, thanks to these funds, will be able to see works carried out which would otherwise they could not have been realised.

Another solidarity initiative in support of women victims of violence. The symbolic delivery of a financial contribution that will allow a young user of the Villa Groggia anti-violence desk to complete his university studies took place this morning at Ca’ Farsetti. The donation was made by the Inner Wheel Club of Venice, the international association that promotes solidarity services and interventions of a humanitarian nature.
