Solitea is the new Seyfor. The cast will come in a few years, says boss Martin Cígler
The billion-dollar Brno holding Solitea completed an important marketing change. The new will be defined mainly by green and purple colors, the name Seyfor, which is already registered in the commercial register.
“We were looking for a brand that really did what I do. If you want to be a successful business, the main thing you need to do is listen to your customers. And from that, Seyfor was born,” says the co-founder and co-owner of the Martin Cígler holding in another Forbes Business podcast.
The Brno-based entrepreneur, who built his business on the self-written Money accounting program, partnered with Martin Fedor and his Sandberg Capital fund less than a decade ago. Since then, the company has been growing, this year, according to Cígler, sales will not grow by a third, but by two thirds.
“This year, we will reach somewhere around 3.6 billion crowns in sales. As for the profit, a sober estimate is that we will be somewhere around 500 crowns,” calculates Cí million crowns, who will now focus mainly on the further expansion of Seyfor, while he still sees the big one in the Balkans.
The fifty-eight-year-old businessman holds one fifth of Seyfor, Sandberg Capital holds seventy percent. Entry to the stock exchange is not a topic, but the fact that there will be a change in the shareholder structure is more than a company and a couple.
“Today, Seyfor is growing faster than we expected. Therefore, the owners agree that it is still too early to exit. But Sandberg’s fund ends in 2026. That means something will happen then,” adds Cígler, who himself is having a hard time getting used to the holding’s new name, so he uses the old name Solitea in the podcast. From now on, forever Seyfor.
How does Martin Cígler manage the company and implement actions in quick succession? How does the unlimited vacation they introduced for employees this year work? And how do they see the Czechs’ chances at the Dakar Rally, which they will participate in for the sixth time as an escort for pilot Martin Macík’s truck? You will learn all this in the podcast.
