A 110 kW total power solar power plant has been installed in Armenia, which reduces electricity for the museum for 8 objects – memorial, schools and CO2 emissions by 115 tons each year.
A solar power plant with a capacity of more than 200 kW is installed in the Gardabani region of Sakartvelo, where 15 water supply systems operate. The new power plant not only produces about a third of the electricity needed for the systems, but also ensures a more stable water supply for residents.
Two more of these installed solar power plants with a capacity of almost 300 kW generate electricity for the communities of Sakasheti and Skra war refugee camps. Families of internal Sakartvel war refugees who moved from Russian-occupied territories are sheltering here.
A 100 kW solar power plant produces electricity for the Sakartveli General Prosecutor’s Office in Tbilisi. This cost-effective solar power plant raises awareness of renewable energy sources and will save nearly 100 tons of CO2 per year.

Lithuania provides support to developing countries to mitigate climate change by fulfilling the obligations of the United Nations General Convention on Climate Change.
Since 2014 Lithuania made a decision not to contribute funds to an international fund, but to implement bilateral development cooperation projects. These bilateral projects are an opportunity for the companies of our country to transfer their technologies, experience, discover new markets in developing countries and help the implementation of climate change mitigation goals.
During this period, 27 solar power projects with a total capacity of almost 5 MW are already being implemented or are being completed. Lithuania’s support for them amounts to 7.5 million. EUR, of which 5.3 million EUR – funds from the Climate Change Program, the rest – funds from Lithuanian companies.
2022-2025 8 million is allocated to climate change development cooperation projects from the Climate Change Program administered by the Ministry of the Environment. euros, 2 million each euros annually.
