Rádio Marca interviewed Kang-in Lee, from South Korea, and the attacking midfielder from Mallorca addressed Friday’s clash against Portugal that will decide the continuation of the Asians in the competition.
“We know it’s going to be a very complicated game because Portugal is one of the candidates to win the championship. In the last two games we competed very well. If we do what we’ve prepared for the last four years we can achieve a wonderful victory”, he asserted.
Despite being a substitute in the selection led by the Portuguese Paulo Bento, his appearances on the field have agitated and given Korea other weapons. Kang-in Lee patiently awaits the jump into the starting line-up: “As I said before coming, it would be a dream for me to be able to play in a World Cup. Every minute the coach gives me I try to make the most of it to help the team.”
