A violent aggression shook a neighborhood Montigny-en-Gohelle (Pas-de-Calais) on October 29, 2022. A 84-year-old man was beaten up at home by an individual who has stole his wallet before fleeing. The author was arrested and imprisoned.
The facts took place rue Saint-Just at 3 am. The victim was sleeping in the living room and was awakened by a man who asked him for money while shaking him. Faced with the refusal of the octogenarian, the attacker hit him several times.
The respondent had managed to enter the home by breaking the window with a concrete plate. He fled with the victim’s wallet after beating her. The next day, the retiree and his daughter filed a complaint at the police station.
The incarcerated assailant
A neighborhood survey and the use of surveillance cameras made it possible to identify an individual living in the same neighborhood. He is also in police custody after domestic violence on his company.
The Montignois was arrested on Thursday, November 24: he admitted the attack but also the theft of a television, still at the octogenarian, a few weeks ago. He had done so to fund his cocaine use. The author was referred this Friday before being imprisoned.
