Glasner clashed again with SGE-Profi
Luca Pellegrini hasn’t really arrived at Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt yet. On the trip to Asia, from which Hessen recently returned, there is said to have been stress with coach Oliver Glasner. The confirmed the message now indirectly.
“If I’m dissatisfied, I’ll get loud. That’s nothing new,” Oliver Glasner was quoted by “Bild” after Frankfurt’s first training session after returning from Japan. The Austrian and the summer newcomer are said to have clashed in Japan – the tabloid probably not the first argument between the head coach and the 23-year-old.
Glasner also outlined what Pellegrini can expect before the Bundesliga season resumes. Before the SBU professionals are allowed to start on December 10th on a short winter vacation, tactical exercises are on the program: “It’s about defensive behavior in general and also in standard situations. We still see room for improvement there.”
Eintracht Frankfurt gets in shape in friendlies
Luca Pellegrini switched to Hessen on loan from Juventus Turin in the summer, with the Europa League winner reacting to the departure of top performer Filip Kostic, who went his way. The winger has played 14 games for Eintracht Frankfurt so far, and he was in Oliver Glasner’s starting XI eight times. Muscular problems had put the native Roman out of action several times.
The left foot will now be watched closely by Glasner in the coming weeks. Pellegrini has two friendlies to allow him to forget the latest discord with his coach. On December 2, Eintracht Frankfurt meets second division club SV Sandhausen, on December 9 a game against Serie A club Atalanta Bergamo is on the program.
After all, the next competitive game in the Bundesliga will only continue for the SBU on January 21st. Then the eagles receive bottom-placed FC Schalke 04.
