An armed man with a masked face burst into a business on boulevard du Maréchal-Leclerc on Monday, November 28, around 9:30 a.m. In his flight, he threw his meager loot and his weapon into the street.
“It’s hard to realize,” says the boss of the tobacconist Le Marine et Blanc, in Bordeaux. Located on the boulevards, near the Chaban-Delmas stadium, his business was robbed on Monday, November 28. Around 9:30 a.m., a young man entered the store, his face hidden under a surgical mask.
“My husband was alone. The man pretended to be interested in lotto tickets before pointing what looks like a gun at my husband. He ordered her to hand over the cash box. Fortunately, we only keep a small background. My husband complied, keeping his calm. The robber seemed very nervous, sweating profusely. That’s when a customer arrived. The thief escaped with around thirty euros, ”says the shopkeeper.
Pursued by his victim, the robber threw his meager loot, his weapon and his mask into the street before managing to flee. These elements, as well as the videos from the commercial cameras, have been recovered by the police and must be analyzed. Checks are in progress on the weapon, which could be dummy. “The police were very attentive. I really want to thank them,” insists the shopkeeper. The investigation was handed over to the federal police. Monday, at the end of the day, the robber had not been found.
