After the match, assistant coach Glenn den Uijl summarized the victory as follows on behalf of the technical staff. Den Uijl: “We are sending the group into the field for victory today. The assignment was simple. Grab the opponent at the keel door high from the start, press to convert and don’t let them get to play their game. We as a group never felt for a minute that we couldn’t win today. There are boys in the field at JOS who have played at the highest level for amateurs and also a number of players who have played professional football. Experience and slimness enough. If we can dominate from minute one, it’s fantastic for the group. They reward themselves for the hard work today and in the last weeks by taking three points. As a staff, we are proud of that.”
Next Tuesday TOGB will play an exhibition game against and against Westlandia. On Sunday, match number sixteen against QUICK will follow at their own sports park. The residents of The Hague played a 2-2 draw against OJC Rosmalen at their own sports park and had sixteen games, two points less, nineteen and TOGB. The derby with Quick is worth a visit. The new grandstands are almost ready and can be used by the spectators.
