The Equita Lyon show on the highest step of the podium –
Absolute attendance record for Equita Lyon and its international horse show with nearly 178,000 visitors.
The figures become certified and made official: the 2022 edition of Equita Lyon, the Salon du Cheval de Lyon, and its Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International, broke all attendance records and recorded a 7% increase compared to to 2021.
With nearly 178,000 visitors welcomed between October 26 and 30, Equita Lyon 2022 even surpasses the previous record of 175,000 people received at Lyon-Eurexpo in 2019, on the occasion of the last edition before the health crisis.
And since happiness never comes alone, Sylvie Robert and her teams learned at the same time that GL events Equestrian Sport had been chosen to organize the Olympic equestrian events at the 2024 Paris Olympics!
