Angry bikers will demonstrate this weekend, everywhere in France, against the establishment of technical control, a decision of the Council of State “to which the government hastens to submit”, denounces the French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC) which considers that the Council of State has “stepped out of its role”, by judging the alternative measures proposed by the government, in collaboration with the federations of users of motorized two-wheelers, to be ineffective”
Gathering of the procession at Grand Épagny
In Haute-Savoie, the FFMC 74 gave bikers an appointment on Sunday November 27, at 1 p.m., at the Auchan service station in the Grand Épagny area, at the gates of Annecy. The procession joins the city center for a rally in front of the prefecture at 2:30 p.m. for speeches. Dispersal is set for 3:30 p.m.
Convinced of the ineffectiveness of the measure to reduce the accident rate of motorized two-wheelers (19% drop in mortality for 10 years), the FFMC “urges the government not to give in to the sirens of technical control lobbies and associations pseudo-ecologist” and “to persevere in the implementation of these alternative measures, even if it means supporting them. »
