The facts took place on November 20, when the couple and their two-year-old child were returning from an evening with the family. At the wheel, the man, who was drunk – 0.82 mg of alcohol per liter of exhaled air – began to argue with his company. Quickly becoming uncontrollable, he multiplies the boardings on national roads, until the woman, panicked and taking advantage of a stop at a stop sign, extricates herself with her son from the vehicle. As she tries to flee, her companion hits her and then forcibly reinstalls her with the child in the passenger seat.

Total incapacity for work of ten days
The vehicle leaves, and this time takes the A16 motorway in the opposite direction. The mother will not wait for a second stop: she manages to slow down the car, opens the door and jumps out of the car with her son in her arms. Her companion brakes suddenly, and tries again to get her back into the vehicle by violently attacking her. The young woman then took refuge behind the security barriers before being rescued by a vehicle parked nearby. Transferred to the Calais emergency room, the woman came out with a total incapacity for work for ten days.

The court of Saint-Omer sentenced him to eighteen months in prison, six of which were suspended and an obligation of care.
