An investigation was opened after the massacre of five hens, Monday, November 21, 2022, in Guînes (Pas-de-Calais). The animals had been living at the Department’s Road Operations Center (CER) for several years. Their mission: to recycle table scraps and give life to the place, report North Coast Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Three young suspects
On the evening of the incident, a resident whose garden is next door heard a noise. He then saw the remains of a hen before seeing a teenager finish off another poultry with a stick.
Ultimately, three young individuals would be involved. They fled after seeing the neighbor, who however was able to take their picture. According to our colleagues, the gendarmes have found the trace of the trio.
