Lisbon closes almost unchanged on a warm day in Europe – Bolsa
The PSI fell 0.04% to 5,877.95 points, remaining close to the highs since mid-September. The main European squares follow without a defined direction but with small variations, on a day in which Wall Street has a shorter session after being closed yesterday.
Of the 15 listed on the national index, eight closed higher, five lower and Jerónimo Martins and CTT closed unchanged.
The biggest drops belonged to Nós, which lost 1.53%, to 3.862 euros, followed by the EDP family: EDP Renováveis did 1.44%, to 22.59 euros, and EDP retreated 0.75%, to at 4,477 euros.
Still on the side of losses, Sonae lost 0.36%, to 0.963 euros, and Galp fell 0.35%, closing at 11.52 euros.
Preventing further damage to the PSI, the BCP advanced 1.7%, to 0.1554 euros, on a day when AlphaValue raised the recommendation for the bank’s shares led by Miguel Maya from “add” to “buy”.
The biggest rise of the day, however, belonged to Corticeira Amorim, which gained 2.15%, to 9.04 euros.
The paper sector also experienced a positive day: the Navigator rose 1.53%, to 3.848 euros, and the Altri gained 0.45%, to 5.55 euros, after yesterday having reported results.
