In the dark, but without you. How Ukraine is experiencing a blackout
People charge their devices from an electric generator at a thermal point
The occupiers have been conducting massive shelling of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure since the beginning of October, and Ukrainians have already learned to adjust their lives without electricity.
As a result of new shelling by the Russian army, Ukraine experienced its first blackout. For the second day in a row, energy workers continue to restore light to people’s homes without rest. Meanwhile, Ukrainians help the Armed Forces, believe in our victory and demonstrate that it is possible to live without electricity, water and heat, but most importantly without Russians. How our citizens adapted will tell Correspondent.net.
On November 23, during an operation on a child’s heart, electricity went out at the Heart Institute in Kyiv. But the surgeons continued their work using headlamps.

The same situation happened in Dnipro at the Mechnikov hospital. Anesthesiologists and surgeons put on headlamps and successfully completed a unique operation in a completely white world. Doctors saved the lives of 23-year-old patients. According to the general director of the hospital, this situation happened for the first time in 35 years of surgical practice of doctors.

Social networks were also moved by a photo of a girl at a gas station: the family brought the child there to connect the inhaler to the network.
“The family asked for an outlet for a girl with an inhaler. Russia continues to attack the critically important infrastructure of Ukraine, depriving ordinary people of electricity, heat and water. This is for life. Don’t wash away,” journalist Andriy Bednyakov wrote.
On November 23, the National Bandurist Band of Ukraine performed at the National Philharmonic Hall in Kyiv, despite the fact that there was no light due to shelling. Spectators also came to the philharmonic hall for a concert when the electricity was cut off.
In connection with the disappearance of electricity, Nezlamnosti points are operating throughout the country. In the stations you can drink tea, charge mobile phones, and children can play in the warmth.
It should be noted that the hashtags “y… bana rusnia” and “bezvas” were trending in social networks. Ukrainians say that it is best to live without electricity, but without Russians.
a day and a half without light, communication, water and heating. fucking Russian in this case is not even an insult, but an obnoxious statement of facts. I wish everyone involved to die ✌️
