A man opened fire during a funeral event, in Sarcelles, Friday, November 18, 2022. A funeral wake took place in the Bois-Joli hall, in the Chardonnettes district (says the Chardo), when an individual would have arrived a little before midnight and would have shot the son of the deceased. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody. After that, he was put on trial. The Pontoise public prosecutor’s office has opened a judicial investigation on the count of attempted voluntary homicide.

The suspect caught

The police are called shortly after these facts, requested for violence. When they arrive on the spot, they discover the suspect naked on the ground being beaten by many people, place des Trois Noyers. The latter then attack the police. Once the situation has calmed down again, witnesses explain to them what happened a little earlier. The man who was targeted by the shots left the scene. The police will learn that this 28-year-old resident of the neighborhood was transported to the Gonesse hospital center. He was reportedly slightly injured by two bullets.

As for the alleged shooter, he was taken into custody. He reportedly denied the charges against him. This 41-year-old man says he was attacked for no reason by young people and claims to have no connection with the shootings. The gunshot-wounded man was also not very cooperative. He said he was the victim of a person wearing a balaclava and filed a complaint against X. The two protagonists are known for multiple drug offenses. The neighborhood itself is notorious for this type of traffic. The investigation was entrusted to the departmental security.
