Is it really still Lithuania? | Experts.eu
s.m. November 23 is the 104th Day of the Lithuanian Army restored in 1918.
Vilnius. Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas: “Our army has become stronger, society is more resilient, the support of allies is greater, and the freedom of Lithuania is more precious. Freedom, in the name of which thousands of Lithuanian soldiers, volunteers and partisans sacrificed their lives, from whom today’s soldiers draw wisdom, unceasing faith, courage and love for the Motherland”.
Really? Is the history of the Nation dear to us, do we still respect ourselves, or only those who despise us?
Did they sacrifice their lives for such “freedom”? Not really.
On that day, November 23, it was announced that the Commission of the National Jonas Basanavičius Award in 2022, i.e. the 30th award (this has been kept silent), was awarded to Jonas Vaiškūnas, a museologist and editor of www.alkas.lt. It’s cool, it’s fun, at least one good news and a clearing in this clutch of desperate government. Culture (!) However, the Ministry to the Supreme Service Ethics Commission due to a possible conflict of interest thanks to the commission provided by the commission (by the way, this bureaucratic wording is an obvious Russicism in the Lithuanian language). Oh God, only after the decision of the commission did it “turn out” to the authorities that Dalia Urbanavičienė, one of the members of the awarding commission, and Jonas Vaiškūnas, the recipient of the award, belong to the same public organization!
There could be another anecdote about the government, but the Minister of Culture Simonas Kairys explains in a serious way that for him “the most important thing is maintaining the prestige of the Jonas Basanavičius Prize and procedural clarity and transparency. And the activity of Jonas Vaiškūnas, apparently, is only the ninth water from the kisiels.
When did participation in public activities become “service ethics” in the Lithuanian state?
I looked it up and I guess I figured it out. “Official ethics” is not violated when the government itself does it.
The Government of Lithuania announced a year ago that “The development of the State Progress Strategy in the context of “Lithuania 2050” has begun Citizens’ Council was convened – a method of cooperation between the government and the public that is common in the world, but still new in Lithuania, when randomly selected representatives of the public decide important national issues.” ().
Authorities “30 selected participants from all over Lithuania discussed the difference between “us” and “them” for two days this October in Druskininkai, examined issues of integration of the disabled, prevention of addictions, national minorities, mutual trust between society and shared ideas on how to solve problems arising in society. “
This is how the state strategy until 2050 was “agreed” with the citizens of Lithuania. These 30 people selected by the government “believe that in 2050 we will live in a better, more understanding society, we will see what is wrong, we will raise those problems (another Russicism – ZV), and most importantly – we will solve them without waiting for them to become obsolete.” Very specific! If in the Soviet years the authorities announced theses about a better life with inspiration, then in the modern “world. in common’ practice it is more akin to davatkish approval of authority. And it doesn’t matter who does it, whether it is the “selected” employees preparing the “Lithuania 2030” or “Lithuania 2050” projects, or 30 “selected representatives of the public”, they probably did not themselves pay for two days of communication with government officials in Druskininkai.
It is not surprising that among these 30 “selected public representatives” of the government, there is no Jonas Vaiškūnas, whose decade-long public activity, views, education and sophistication, citizenship are visible and known to the people of Lithuania. Why are Lithuanian citizens “represented” by persons not elected by them and unknown to the public? Apparently, it is not by chance that only the names of these “representatives” are published, but not the surnames, professions, education, experience of public activities. Apparently, Jonas Vaiškūnas’s views, professional and social activities experience are not…
Thus, the public representative is apparently only the one chosen by the Lithuanian authorities. And payment for loyalty or “work” by society (or rather, government).
It remains to wait for the next step of the government, which has already been tested – to declare Jonas Vaiškūnas a “threat to national security”. This is completely serious, because he and his like-minded people, among other things, actively and publicly defend the state language of Lithuania, which those who have taken over the Seimas, according to the so-called program of the “Freedom” party, want to let circulate “freely”, that is, without state supervision. And with non-Lithuanian letters of the alphabet. The courts representing the state will “create” precedents, the re-elected State Language Commission will approve everything. It will not even be necessary to change the rulings of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania regarding the defense of the Lithuanian language. And we don’t care about all that, we will just listen to the “Lithuanian” language of the “Ramanauskas” and similar “state” actors freely flowing on the air, the influence of this language on the “state” Lithuanian language. And we will agree with the strongest argument of all “public” broadcasters, which is announced in every third sentence: “Isn’t it?”.
In Lithuania, the lawyer who defended the defendants in the January 13th and Medininkai massacre cases has already been declared a “threat to national security”, that is, because of his professional activities, which are guaranteed and protected by the law. Because the Russian media wrote about these processes, the arguments of this lawyer. Or maybe it’s time to stop allowing those who have been paid to defend themselves in court in the self-declared democratic Lithuania? Only the Seimas or the security will determine who are the enemies of the state.
I’m starting to not recognize Lithuania anymore. Today’s Lithuania, which is no longer what it was in 1991. during the events of January. It is openly coerced to remain silent. And the Lithuanian army, which does not know who, does not know what will be directed against, is the completely confused Lithuanian authorities. Entangled due to greed and service to both Russia, Washington, and the European Union, which our Nation did not join. And this is the worst thing – distrust of the authorities and terrible apathy of the people who would drive you away.
All that is left for such a Lithuanian government is to trample the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania, which they swore to respect, every day.
Therefore, it is necessary to remember our Constitution not only for the government, but also for the citizens of Lithuania:
Article 1: The State of Lithuania is an independent democratic republic.
Article 2: The State of Lithuania is created by the Nation. Sovereignty belongs to the Nation.
Article 5, paragraphs 2 and 3:
The powers of government are limited by the Constitution.
Government institutions serve the people.
Article 14: The state language is Lithuanian.
Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Article 38:
The family is the foundation of society and the state.
The state protects and protects the family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood.
Marriage is concluded by the free consent of a man and a woman.
And how can you dare not to understand these ideas of the Basic Law of our coexistence in Lithuania, which are usually written clearly, and somehow interpret them in a different way!?
This is happening not only because “vadism” has collapsed in Lithuania, but also because we do not oppose it.
