Premiere at Oliver!, Fredrikshald Theater
*The Christmas party presents the musical Oliver! Based on the well-known and beloved story about the orphanage boy Oliver Twist, who escapes from the orphanage in search of a better life. Also play 26/11, 27/11, 30/11, 2/12 and 3/12.
Concert with Country Comfort, Halden Normisjon
* The public will be served mulled wine with accessories in the foyer of Halden Normisjon’s premises in Aspeveien 1
Concert with the Philip Granly Trio, Vannvogna
* Jazz Friday at Vannvogna with Philip Granly (piano), Håkon Huldt Nystrøm (double bass) and Trym Saugstad Karlsen (drums).
Concert with Nexø (Denmark) Ronny Ver, Siste Reis Pub
* punk band from Copenhagen, plus band with members from Live Aids and No Income Housing.

SATURDAY
Christmas fair at the Salvation Army in Halden
* After the Salvation Army in Tistedal and Halden were merged, the Christmas mass has been arranged in the congregation’s premises in Oscars gate.
Christmas road opening and Christmas market in Aremark
* Mass activities for the children, such as face painting, horse riding and a quiz at Aremark Historielag with a prize for the winner. When the Christmas train arrives at the bank square, there will be a lighting of the Christmas tree, a walk around the tree, and the elves will hand out goodie bags to the children.
Christmas at the Berg stadium
* Santa comes with a bag of goodies for the children, barbecue, mulled wine and donuts are sold.
Matinee concert with Holy Slowly, Kulturhuset
* «Holy Slowly» consists of Klas Karlsson (keyboard), Tommy Ranum (guitar) and Bruno Skogmann (vocals). They have created a program they call « From 1958 – 1998». Here they take the audience on a journey through popular music in chronological year order.

Santa Sunday at Ormtjernhytta
* There will be Christmas music and the sale of Santa porridge and goody bags. The children are encouraged to dress up as Red Elf, Blue Elf or Barn Elf.
Tour and exhibition, Kulturhuset
* Aud Irene Andersen talks about her pictures for children and families.
Christmas market at Rokke school
* It is visited by exhibitors who sell home-made wood products, cakes, honey and cards. Mulled wine and gingerbread around the fire.
