In Jankovcov Street, we are preparing the Jan Vodanskho circle, which will be the largest investment in the history of the city street. It will be more expensive than building the town hall, which cost over 400 million crowns. We are building an apartment building in Za Paprnou street. We have to keep up the pace of investments, especially in the area of ​​bicycles, because we know based on demographic research that the number of urban residents is constantly increasing. For us, Deleit is like a tree or barrier-free urban streets.

What is the status of the smoky projects? And what about flying?
The construction of the runway should start at the beginning, starting at the points where new bridges are to be built. This means the extension of Veletrn and Dlnick streets, then the junction of Bubensk street and so on to Vstaviti. At Jan Vodanskho’s wheel, we have an architectural competition behind us and the project is now in the making, similar to the Za Paprnou apartment building, here it was designed according to the international competition. tvanick lion will be ready for the spring, which will greatly improve the public space and traffic at Prask trnice and Prague 7 will have a lot of rest.

How do you step up and take action this winter when the whole world is hit by an energy crisis?
We have set up a so-called quick help system. We distributed it from seven to the whole city, it is really effective mainly for those who need it the most. Thanks to me, families with children don’t have to pay for lunch in the dorms, in total it comes to around ten thousand crowns per family.

From January, he started helping the elderly, we will give them a housing allowance, the support is 6,15 thousand kroner for those who enter it. In Prague 7, we have set up quick help for everyone in general situations, where we can give and drink a small amount and thus prevent any accidents.

Can you put it on paper?
Not long ago, we had a senior citizen who lost his earlobe for the second time during the week. If you lose it a second time, you have to pay one hundred crowns for the issued new one. He didn’t have the money, but he got it from the city council, all he needed was the signature of the mayor and the councilor for social affairs. This prevented a disaster, without the bank he wouldn’t have received a pension, without a pension he wouldn’t have paid it, and without paying it he wouldn’t have received a housing allowance. In two months we would have to do much worse things with him.

How is the current burst housing stock? And how do you evaluate the results of the Prask development company’s work so far, which you built for the city during your work at the town hall?
The Prask housing fund is affected by this, because the apartments are still being sold. Even before the elections, I said that we would not sell apartments, we would not sell them in Prague 7 during the election period, and it is about time, otherwise we would lose the opportunity to help people with housing.

At the moment, we see you in Brno, that when selling city flats, it leads many people to injustices, which we would certainly not want in Prague. The Prask development company is now preparing documents for between six and eight thousand city apartments, which will take several election periods. I hope he gets space to work.

Before last year’s elections for the mayor, you also became the target of criticism from the opposition because of the apartments that your family had privatized from the city years ago.
What about twenty years ago, when my parents from Prague 1, like all other Germans of that time, received an offer to buy the apartment they had lived in for ten years, it has nothing to do with me and I don’t understand, that’s why someone was picking on me . He wasn’t even in politics twenty years ago.
