“An adventure is about to begin.” And what an adventure for Louis and Marie Ducruet! It is with this sentence that the couple announced, this November 23, 2022, to expect their first child. On Instagram, the future parents have published a new photo of them with their dog Pancake dressed in a scarf where it is written “Soon to be a big brother” (“Soon big brother” in French). Camille Gottlieb, Louis’ half-sister, shared her joy in the comments. “I’M GOING TO BE THE BEST OF THE TATAS!!!!!!!!!” exclaimed the young woman.
Married since July 27, 2019, Louis and Marie had appointed Point of view their desire to start their own family a few days before their wheaten wedding. “We are thinking about it, of course,” explained the son of Princess Stephanie of Monaco. “I have wanted to be a father for several years now. 30 would be the perfect age to make this project a reality,” confided Louis, who will be celebrating his 30th birthday on November 26. Marie will blow out her 30 candles on December 28.
Big family ?
As the discussion progressed, he also mentioned his dream of a large family. “I would ideally like to have three or four children. I have a brother and three sisters… having a large family, like mine, would be a real joy for me.” A point on which Marie diverged slightly! “I’m more into the idea of having two. One thing is certain, we don’t want to have just one and only one.”
Their baby, whose birth is scheduled for 2023 – the couple gave no further indication of the progress of Marie’s pregnancy – will be the first grandchild of Stephanie of Monaco. Marie is responsible for event marketing and protocol for the Société des Bains de Mer. Louis works for the English football club Nottingham Forest.
