The Krč housing estate is richer with another renovated leisure area. The streetball court in Ružinovská street was built more than twelve years ago and since then has found a number of local users.

“The reconstructed sports field sends a clear signal that we do not forget about improving the quality of leisure activities for children and youth. This year, it is already the second streetball field that got a new face,” he says Mayor of Prague 4 Ondřej Kubín (ODS) and adds: “The first was the streetball corner in U Kempinku street.”

The surface of the new court is enriched with the application of visual motifs that expand its use to other game activities than streetball itself. Newly, there are integrated benches on the surface that allow comfortable sitting, so they can be used in fitness activities.

“Sport is a phenomenon of our time. That’s why increasing the comfort of publicly accessible sports grounds is part of our commitment to the citizens and visitors of Prague 4 for years to come,” adds Mayor Kubín.
