Milan will finalize their first summer signing this week
Milan are close to signing Marco Sportello Starting at Atalanta as a free agent and is expected to finalize player’s agent deal Beppe Riso this week.
The Italian goalkeeper’s contract expires in June and the Rossoneri are in advanced talks to complete his signing in the coming days.
According to Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini will meet the player’s agent Riso this week. Sportiello, 30, signed a three-year contract at San Siro, joining the team as a free agent this summer.
Sportiello will replace Ciprien Tatarusanuwho will leave Milan at the end of his contract in June.
The 36-year-old is Diavoli’s second-choice goalkeeper and has conceded 12 goals in 12 appearances this season, keeping four clean sheets. He replaced Mike Mainnan last month after the French keeper suffered a calf injury while on international duty in September.
Sportiello, former Frosinone, Fiorentina and Carpi keeper has kept 50 clean sheets in 190 Serie A games, conceding 259 goals in the Italian top flight.
