Discover Japan, its culture and its gastronomy at the “Made in Japan” fair
Tastings, shows, curiosities and iconic objects will be there.
Last year, the show was a great success. Louis Ducruet even came to inaugurate the event. For this third edition, which will take place from December 3 to 4 at the Grimaldi Forum, Made in Japan has some great shows in store for its guests.
Japan and its culture have always fascinated the West and the show has understood this well by offering dances and parades of kimonos thanks to the “Kimono Japan Beauty” group. The French “Rakugo-ka”, Cyril Coppini, will introduce the art of Rakugo. More intriguing and often much lesser known, Rakugo is a Japanese literary performance in which the performer alone tells a comedic story, infusing the story with plenty of life and drive.

Of course, the show will be filled with stands where you can taste Japanese gastronomy and discover its rich culture through the many exhibitors of incense, jewelry, porcelain, books, teas…
The show costs €10 and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and until 5 p.m. on Sundays at the Grimaldi Forum, in the Diaghilev room. The Kimono Parade will take place twice on December 3, once at 10:30 a.m. and the other at 3 p.m. On Sunday it will be at 2 p.m. The two performances of Rakugo will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
