Coworking in Toulouse: Studio 100 is not cinema!
The first shared office space dedicated to communication professions has opened at 100 allées de Barcelone in Toulouse.
Past the bench space at the entrance, a midnight blue corridor leads to the shared office room, with screen walls and light wood parquet. A bay window overlooks a quiet garden in the heart of Toulouse. the “Workshop 100” opened its doors last September at number 100 Barcelona Alley. This coworking space dedicated to communication professions was designed by photographer Lydie Lecarpentier Thomas. She embarked on the adventure with Delphine Chevaugeon, graphic designer.
From private office to open space
The two actually met in a coworking space! They bought these 140 m2 for €300,000, allocated an additional €85,000 of work. “We redid everything, everything decompartmentalised. » The set has been divided into a private office (to rent €700/month), co-workers (€220 per month, which can be shared), a modular space which becomes a photo studio on demand and a room of meeting. Without forgetting the kitchen and bar which overlooks the garden. “We designed it like at home,” smiles Delphine Chevaugeon. No hiring in sight and, for the time being, the break-even point is at €1,500 per month.
“More than colleagues, a team”
“We don’t want to call ourselves a corworking but a shared office”, explains Lydie Lecarpentier Thomas. Graphic designers and web designers have already taken up residence at Studio 100. “We are more than coworkers, we are a team,” says Audrey Helouin, who created My Web Design. “It allows us to work together on projects and to develop our network thanks to our common sector of activity,” adds Leslie Roy, of the communication agency Girls Make Sense.
