The exhibition of the Hungary 365 photo competition is coming to Debrecen
Debrecen – You can see the large-scale exhibition on Kossuth Square.
As photographer Ottó Kaiser, the president of the jury, stated earlier, the competition wants to show, through the cameras of amateur and professional creators, why we can be proud of Hungary: our landscapes, our natural treasures, our architecture, our traditions, our communities.
The opening of the exhibition will take place at Kossuth Square on October 24, from 1:30 p.m., and later, from 5 p.m., there will be a round-table discussion in the Díszterme of the Jewish Community of Debrecen (Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca 26).
The event will be attended by photographer Ottó Kaiser, president of the jury; Éva Keleti, Kossuth award-winning photographer; Photographer László Jaris, member of the board of the Hungarian Academy of Arts; Environmental researcher Imre Potyó, laureate of the 2020 competition, nature photographer of the year in 2018 and 2020, and photographer Tamás Rizsavi, special prize winner of the 2021 competition.
The discussion entitled “The position and role of Hungarian photography in culture” is led by Zsolt Heller, an essayist and folk poet.
