One more store. Aldi will open the 116th supermarket in Portugal
ONE Aldi Portugal opens its 116th store in Portugal on Wednesday and the second in the district of Aveiro, announced the supermarket group. For this new supermarket, 20 new employees were hired.
“The food retailer is once again betting on the district of Aveiro, with the inauguration of a store in São João da Madeira, after the opening of Santa Maria da Feira in May this year. With this store, Aldi now has 116 establishments in Portugal, thus continuing its expansion plan“, can be read in a statement to which the News by the Minute had access.
To mark this opening, the retailer “will open doors with exclusive sales on sports, decoration, gardening products, some of which with more than 70% discount”.
“With a total sales area of 1,040 m2, the new Aldi São João da Madeira promises to bring the city’s inhabitants a simple and fast shopping experience, through a modern and inviting layout. In addition to the bakery service and the bread cutting, this shop also has a freshly squeezed natural orange juice machine, produced from fresh oranges from the Algarve”, can be read in the same note.
