In 2023, almost a thousand new and 500 renovated SATO rental apartments will be completed. In addition to the capital region, new rental apartments are being built in Tampere and Turku.
SATO acquires and builds rental apartments owned by SATO and participates in the development of entire residential areas in cooperation with cities. SATO is one of Finland’s largest providers of rental apartments and owns around 25,000 rental apartments with good public transport links and services in the capital region, Turku and Tampere.
SATO is currently building several new properties and also implementing several renovation projects.

In accordance with SATO’s strategy, all new rental apartments are located in growth centers near good transport links and services – in areas where there is a demand for new apartments.

The renovation of 500 rental apartments will be completed in Helsinki
SATO renovates rental apartments and buildings owned by SATO in accordance with life cycle principles. Every year, the renovation of hundreds of homes is completed.
Last year, a total of EUR 93.6 million was used to repair and improve the quality of apartments, of which EUR 75.9 million was spent on repair investments.
