A big boss tried for the murder of another delinquent at the Assizes of Toulouse
The case was complicated to elucidate by the Toulouse investigators, because as in many cases of settling scores, they had to face the law of silence and the difficulty of obtaining reliable testimonies. No witness reported to the police while the facts took place in the middle of summer in the street in the heart of the Reynerie district. First there was a shooting, but it was five stab wounds that took the life of the victim, Abdelkrim Koulel, a well-known delinquent at Mirail, nicknamed “the immortal” or even “Navarro”.
Four men laid his bruised body in front of the Purpan hospital in Toulouse, he died 30 minutes later. It takes the police six days to get their hands on the main suspect: Ouisam Boujoual, a native of Carcassonne and now 31 years old. His criminal record is as long as his arm: twenty convictions, a month before the facts, he was sentenced to six years in prison for aggravated violence.
This July 3, 2018, he is supposed to be in prison, he is arrested, indicted in June 2019 and imprisoned in the Foix remand center. He is accused of having killed Abdelkrim Koulel whom he accused of having disseminated, several years earlier, compromising personal photos. The defendant has always denied the facts. The trial is expected to end on Friday.
