Employees daily calculate the duration of coverage of the activities of five parliamentary parties (KPRF, United Russia, Just Russia, LDPR and New People) in news programs of five federal TV channels (First, Rossiya, NTV, TVC and Ren) . -TV), keep timing of the synchronous (direct speech) of the representatives of this party, and also take into account their representation in some of the observed television programs. The air of the TV channel “Russia-24” does not occur during the calculation.

During the period from November 13 to November 19, in the news broadcasts on federal TV channels, the five-parliamentary parties were given 8 minutes 53 seconds of airtime, which is five times less than the last share. So, during October-November 2022, the total amount of news on the party television air was changed by the council (Group 1):

In this way, in the period from 13 to 19 November compared with a significant public airtime dropped sharply. The parties received the fewest number of weeks in the last two months.

In this way, in the period from 13 to 19 November compared with a significant falling share of the Communist Party (from 44 to 0%), LDPR (from 9 to 4%), “Fair Russia” (from 4 to 0%) and “New People” (from 3 to 0%). the broadcast share of United Russia increased sharply (from 40 to 96%).

Thus, in the period from November 13 to November 19, United Russia projects became the topics of the broadcast.

In total, “United Russia” was mentioned in connection with the family newsbreaks, the Liberal Democratic Party with one. The Communist Party, “SR” and “New People” were not mentioned.

Mentions about the parties on the channel “Russia 24”

Employees of the CIPCR and the Observation Sector of the Department for Dangerous Electoral Districts of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation analyzed the frequency of mentioning four parliamentary parties in the messages of the Rossiya 24 TV channel (Table 4).

Thus, in the period from 13 to 19 November 2022 on “Russia 24” there were 20 stories with mentions of manifestations, while there were 19 reports on significance (see Appendix 1).

In total, for the period from February 24 to November 19, the total political broadcast was collected for 29 hours and 59 minutes of air time. At the same time, 56% of the air was received by United Russia, 20% by the Liberal Democratic Party, 14% by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, 6% by A Just Russia and 4% by New People. Communist Party ranked third worldwide on television.

If we consider the story that aired in the same period on five central TV channels and the Russia 24 channel, the “party of power” has a noticeable advantage here (Table 5).

In this way, on central channels “United Russia” was mentioned most often (in 1095 stories). According to the second most famous place of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (362 stories). The LDPR was mentioned in 325 stories, A Just Russia in 222 stories, and the New People party in 166 stories.

On the channel “Russia 24” ratio is different. “ER” is also mentioned in total (623 times), the second place belongs to the Liberal Democratic Party (270 stories), the third place is occupied by “Fair Russia” (241 stories), the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is in fourth place (214 messages) and the last place is “New People” ( 212 stories).

• “Party of Power” returned the residual share in televisionAt the same time, the share of “EP” has increased dramatically from 40 to 96% in the total broadcast and from 45 to 90% simultaneously. “United Russia” was mentioned in connection with the family of informational reasons.
• Ranked #2 worldwide LDPR. The Liberal Democratic Party received 4 instead of 9% of the total broadcast and 10% of synchro, as well as on weight. The Liberal Democrats were mentioned only once, in connection with the events in Makiivka.
• The Communist Party of the Russian Federation was not mentioned on television, while on the exclusive party it took first place in America on the general air and second in synchronism. respectively, share Communists fell from 44 to 0% in general broadcast and from 35 to 0% in direct speech.
• “Fair Russia” and “New People” were not mentioned on TV.
• Regarding the mention of parties on the channel “Russia 24”, then most often on the ER TV channel (12 stories). The Communist Party of the Russian Federation, “New People” and “Fair Russia” were shown in one each scene, the Liberal Democratic Party in seven plots.
• If we consider the entire news party political air since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, then in the period from February 24, United Russia (56%) and the Liberal Democratic Party (20%) received the largest share of the air. The Communist Party got 14%, “Fair Russia” 6%, “NL” 4% of the air.
• Thus, in the period from November 13 to November 19, the total political airtime took a record low consumption of airtime (less than 9 minutes of time). At the same time, 96% of the broadcast hit the newsworthy “United Russia” and 4% of the mention of the Liberal Democratic Party. All other parties, including the Communist Party, were not mentioned.
