In response to Black Friday, the city of Brussels is launching its Local Friday promotion. As of November 21, 42 Brussels stores will be offering special promotions. On the online platform commercelocal.brussels developed by the City, you will find all the selling merchants.

“In times when our social networks are flooded with advertisements for Black Friday and its mass consumption, the city of Brussels will remember the wealth, attitude and knowledge of its local merchants,” says alderman of Economic Affairs Fabian Maingain (Défi) .

This is done through discount and other promotional campaigns by those local traders, collected and highlighted by the City of Brussels – including a large poster at the Stock Exchange, pins and bookmarks, as an ecological alternative to flyers. Most promotions are valid from 25 to 27 November 2022.

The promotions of the stores are very different. For example, you can follow a free workshop from a stylist at Lokal Concept Store on Friday 25 November. Sauvage Décor offers a 20 percent discount on the entire store and a free plaid with a purchase of also 250 euros.
