Russia has increased oil supplies to China by 9.5% since the beginning of the year

In the first ten months of the average year, Russia increased its supply in China by 9.5% year-on-year to 71.97 million tons. This is reported by TASS with reference to the data of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China.
“Supplies of Russian oil to China in January increased year-on-year by about 9.5% and amounted to 71.97 million tons. The cost of raw materials purchased by China in Russia over the specified period increased by 53%, to $49.19 billion.
Since the beginning of autumn, Russia has consistently ranked second in the list of major world oil reserves in China. Last month, Beijing bought 7.72 million tons of oil from Moscow, in September – 7.46 million tons. However, the volume of exports of products exported to China, which became Saudi Arabia, increased sharply. Since the beginning of the year, Riyadh has shipped 73.76 million tons of oil worth $55.5 billion to China, according to Chinese storage data.
From January to October, the cost of supplying Russian pipeline gas to China also rose. This figure for the first ten months increased by 182% and amounted to 3.1 billion US dollars. However, the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China did not disclose data on the volume of raw material imports.
