An inseparable duo from Toulouse lights up a memorable game between France and Spain
By Quentin Marais
Usual lair of the French Stadium, the enclosure of Jean-Bouin a Paris, converted into a football pitch, Saturday November 19, 2022. The Eleven All Stars brought together the cream of French and Spanish streamers, on the occasion of a meeting between the two nations, during which Toulouse has, once again, been very nicely represented.
Sacha and Djilsi selected
The rivalry between France and Spain took a real turn during this year 2022. It was first marked by an intense pixel war, on the Reddit platform, at the beginning of April. Streamers and videographers from the two neighboring countries had promised to meet again to cross swords once again.
Led by Amine (Aminematué on Twitter), the project about this Saturday, during a football match at the Jean-Bouin stadium in Paris. And among the lucky ones selected in the French camp, two Toulousains: Djilsi (Sidjil of his real first name), and Sasha, friends of (very) long time.
The duo, which is a hit on the networks, has launched several big challenges, such as Paris Bike Rally from the Pink City or, more recently, jump into the crowd from the Zenith of Montpellier under the eyes of Big Flo and Oli.
A head of gold and an invincible guardian
And as much to say that the two friends more than nicely represented Toulouse, in front of 20,000 people in the stands, accompanied by more than a million viewers on Twitch.
With his number 23, Sacha scored the first goal of the game, and how! He has perfectly uncrossed his head on a cross from the right, to deceive the Spanish goalkeeper and make the stadium exult.
On his side, Djilsi, who had participated in the GP Explorer organized by Squeezie in early October, was established as the last bastion. The keeper in the cap has shown himself impassable, closing the game with a clean sheet. He regaled the crowd with a furious outing followed by an authoritative look in the direction of Spaniard Alex Silvestre. Before running a nice somersault in front of one of the conquered spectators.
At the end of the 90 minutes of a match where the VAR was also part of the party, France won 2-0. And the performances of Sacha and Djilsi did not escape Toulouse FC.
This Sunday morning, on the Téléfoot set, it’s Antoine Griezmann which, from Qatar, determined the performance of tricolor streamers. And a Toulouse duo who once again magnificently represented France’s fourth city.
