The rise in housing prices in Istanbul is on the rise

Housing prices in Istanbul increased by 212.1 percent annually. According to the housing price regulation published by the CBRT housing Prices increased by 4.9 percent in September compared to the previous month. Evaluating the developments in the housing price indices of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, it was observed in the sections of 4.6, 4.3 and 5.8, respectively, compared to the previous month in September. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the index values were 212.1 percent, 196.0 percent and 185.8 percent in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, respectively. The average housing price in Istanbul has exceeded 3 million TL. The average square meter price increased to 25 thousand 714 TL in Istanbul, 11 thousand 323 TL in Ankara and 18 thousand 761 TL in İzmir.
RENTAL SON INCREASED 3 TIMES IN 1 YEAR
The price increases caused by the fluctuations in the supply and demand volume with the housing management pandemic period were especially rapid in rentals. In this period, it became difficult to find a rental house due to the shortage of stocks. The rents of existing houses have also increased 2-3 times. It has been a dream to live in luxury districts in Istanbul with the TV series at rental prices according to the districts. According to the configurations, the lowest house rent in Istanbul rose to an average of 6 thousand liras. Luxury finishing, on the other hand, has an average of 30 thousand liras in prices.
