ANTONIO FABBRI – Are pianists returning to the Council? The incident is being examined by the Regency. Since open voting, there have been no more episodes of directors voting for absent colleagues. It happened again, however, on Thursday evening. Among other things, the mistake occurred at the end of a heated debate on an amendment presented by the secretary of state Belluzzi, to a decree relating to “listening spaces” in schools, on which there had been an instance of Arengo and then an agenda. Councilor Denise Bronzetti, who expressed her opposition to the amendment, consulted the record of the open vote and, returning to the courtroom, she ascertained that the vote of the councilor, Gian Nicola Berti, who however was no longer in the courtroom, appeared. Clearly, therefore, his ballot had remained inserted and someone had voted for him. This triggered the reporting of the members of the mixed group Denise Bronzetti and Grazia Zafferani, who formally reported the incident to the Regency in writing. Regency which, yesterday, convened the Secretariat Office. As far as is known, the “Var” was also consulted, i.e. the closed-circuit television cameras that monitor the courtroom. It seems that whoever voted for Councilor Berti has been identified. The Regency will now decide what to do, whether to cancel the vote, repeat it or what decisions to adopt. (…)
