Portugal trains with Cristiano Ronaldo, but with six ‘casualties’
ONE The Portuguese team carried out, early this Saturday afternoon, what was the first training session on Qatari soil, in a session that was marked by the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, who missed the rout imposed on Nigeria, in Alvalade, due to gastric problems.
Conversely, Fernando Santos could not count on the contribution of Diogo Dalot, Otávio, João Félix, António Silva, André Silva and William Carvalho, who did not take to the pitch of the Al-Shahaniya SC training center, having instead performed recovery work, in the gym.
The team from the corners, remember, enters into action in the World Championship at 16:00 (mainland Portugal time) next Thursday, at Estádio 974, in Doha, against Ghana, in the opening match of Group H.
This is followed by the match against Uruguay, on the 28th of November, and, finally, the clash with South Korea, the team coached by Portuguese coach Paulo Bento, on the 2nd of December.
